Indian Ambassador handover cricket equipment

Ambassador of India to Nepal Naveen Srivastava handed over professional cricket equipment to Nepal Cricket Team Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel, including 20 Sareen Sports Industries bats.

Cricket Association of Nepal-CAN also presented to Ambassador Srivastava a signed jersey of the Nepal Cricket Team.

The event was attended by Cricket Association of Nepal President Chatur B Chand and Secretary Paras Khadka.

Cricket Association of Nepal conveyed its thanks to Embassy of India Kathmandu and highlighted that handing over marked the start of the journey of cooperation between the Embassy and the Cricket Association of Nepal.

The equipment was handed over on behalf of the B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation (BPKF) foundation & SJVN Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of India.

Previously, the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, has provided a bus to the Cricket Association of Nepal and through the BPKF, supported Nepal Deaf Cricket Team.
