Libya hosts Arab Youth Muay Thai tournament

 The Libyan capital Tripoli is hosting the Arab Youth Muay Thai tournament with the participation of more than 200 athletes from 15 Arab countries.

"Today, the Arab Youth Muay Thai tournament continues with participation of more than 200 athletes from different Arabic countries," Mohamed Zarrouq Sharif, the Head of Libya's Muay Thai Federation, told Xinhua.

"We wanted to reflect a positive image of Libya and send out a message that Libya is safe and secure," Sharif added.

The tournament, the first of its kind held in Libya, kicked off on Tuesday and will last until Sunday.
