Police equalized in Suman's goal

Himalayan Sherpa Club and Departmental Nepal Police Club have drawn points in Qatar Airways Martyrs' Memorial 'A' Division League.

Sherpa and Police drew 1-1 at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor on Wednesday. Captain Bishwas Shrestha scored for Sherpa while Police's Suman Lama equalized. Captain Biswas Shrestha scored in the 53rd second of the game to give Sherpa the lead. This is the fastest goal in the ongoing league.

Bishwas Shrestha's shot from outside the penalty box hit the goalkeeper Shatrughan Kumar Chaudhary and turned into a goal. In the 24th minute, Bharat Sah got a golden opportunity in the penalty box but he could not control the ball.

In the 46 th minute, Anjan Rai got a golden opportunity in the penalty box but his shot was missed. Suman Lama scored in the 60th minute to level the game 1-1. Police took advantage of the situation when Sherpa defender Alriv Sive was injured and undergoing treatment outside the field.
