The Nepali Women's National Cricket Team is currently preparing for the Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in Kathmandu. The tournament starts on August 31 in Malaysia. Bahrain, Bhutan, Malaysia, Nepal, Qatar and United Arab Emirates will compete in the A group. According to the schedule, Nepal will play its first match against Malaysia on August 31st. Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) appointed former Indian cricketer Devika Palshikar as a consultant for the Nepali women's cricket team.
