Taekwondo record holder player Sangina Baidya has been honored by Nuwakot Seva Samaj - United Arab Emirestes UAE.
She was honored in a special program me in the UAE.
Baidya achieved various successes by handling the training of the national team as well as the Nepali Army. Her training also contributed greatly to Nepal winning 12 gold medals in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in Taekwondo.
Baidya is the first athlete in Nepal's sports history to win the first Asian medal and the first Nepali athlete to pass the Olympic qualifying stage and play in the Olympics.
