Department of Immigration amends office hours

The Department of Immigration has changed its office hours. Issuing a statement today, the department has said that the office hours have been changed keeping in mind the risk posed by the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

It has also mentioned that it has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety of its employees and service seekers who visit the department.

As per the new schedule, the department will remain open from 10 am till 3 pm from Sunday to Thursday. On Friday, the department will remain open from 10 am till 2 pm. It has advised service seekers to visit the department only within the new timings that it has mentioned.
