Tourism promotion stressed with an aviation route

A grand interaction program has been organized in Bhadrapur, Jhapa among the stakeholders from the local governments and tourism entrepreneurs for the tourism promotion of Gandaki and Koshi provinces.

The interaction program from the tourism entrepreneurs of Pokhara with the officials of the local levels from Koshi Province, tourism entrepreneurs, and journalists comes after Buddha Air started direct flights from Pokhara to Jhapa.

In the interaction program, the Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City Dhanraj Acharya argued that the direct flight between Pokhara and Bhadrapur would help in tourism promotion, and stressed more tourist destinations and activities.

Likewise, the Mayor of Bhadrapur Municipality Ganesh Pokharel called for all-side cooperation and coordination for tourism development. He said the direct flight connecting the two cities would help the promotion of the tourism destinations, marketing of produced goods, and support to bring in more Indian tourists.

Also speaking at the event, Member of the Nepal Tourism Board Madan Acharya said hospitality, connectivity, marketing, and tourism infrastructures are required.

Present on the occasion was the Acting Chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council Krishna Bhandari, Chairman of Nepal Association of Tour and Travels, Gandaki, Hari Ram Adhikari, Mayor of Kankai Municipality Rajendra Pokharel, Deputy Mayor of Birtamod Municipality Pabitra Mahatara Prasain, Chairman of Rong Rural Municipality Mani Kumar Syangbo, Chairman of Kachankawal Rural Municipality Kalendra Singh Rajbansi and others.
