Work is underway at the polling stations and centers in Chitwan Constituency 2 for the April 23 by-election.

The government has decided to announce a public holiday in three constituencies on April 23 in view of the House of Representatives (HoR) by-election.

Nagarik Unmukti Party, a coalition ally in the incumbent government, has decided to field its candidates for the April 23 by-election (in all three constituencies, Bara-2, Chitwan-2, and Tanahun-1).

The nomination of candidates for the April 23 by-election (Tanahun constituency 1) is being registered today at the office of the chief district election officer in Tanahun district between 10 am and 5 pm.

There is a program of nomination registration tomorrow for the by-elections to be held on April 23.
