Voting to elect a new president has begun at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor amid tight security and surveillance, it has been said.

Under the coordination and management of the Nepali Congress, an orientation program focused on the presidential election will be held for members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly of eight political parties.
