Nine suspension bridges have been constructed in the district of Myagdi in the current fiscal year.

Two suspension bridges are to be constructed over the Khudi rivulet in Pokhara metropolis-32.

Country's most of the ropeways locally known as tuin have been replaced by suspension bridges. Ropeways meant for the people’s movement have been completely removed.

Federal government had appropriated Rs 70 million for embankment along the rivulets in Madi, which were eroded by flooding in the year 2017.
