Taking advantage of the bandh called by four parties in Ghorahi of Dang, the driver and co driver set fire to the tipper they were driving.
Rajan Kumar Gautam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Dang, informed that the driver himself set the fire on tipper.
When they were detained and investigated, it was confirmed that they set fire to the damaged vehicle with the consent of the vehicle owner.
Gautam informed that the driver Arun Chaudhary and the co-driver Akash Chaudhary were arrested after they saw a vehicle set on fire in the morning on the occasion of the bandh called by four different political parties.
They set fire to a tipper on the Babai Khola bridge of the Ghorahi Lamhi road section.
