CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that his party is still waiting for the resignation of the Speaker.
"We are waiting for his resignation," he said, "Be respectful and resign on your own. Don't make anyone say in the future that you were kicked out of your position forcibly."
UML has been chanting slogans in the parliament since September 8 demanding the expulsion of 14 lawmakers who were sacked by their party. He is of view that the Speaker should resign if those 14 people are not expelled.
