From today, the use of illegally imported mobile phones will be banned. Nepal Telecommunication Authority is going to implement the mobile device management system MDMS from today, banning illegal mobiles.
With the aim of banning the use of mobile phones illegally imported from abroad, the Authority has started implementing MDMS from today.
Now when buying a mobile phone, the authority has also requested to make sure that it is registered or not. Now, the mandatory IMEI of the mobile phone bought from abroad or received as a gift will have to be registered.
