The newly elected President Ramchandra Paudel will take the oath of office tomorrow on Monday.
He will take the oath of office before the Chief Justice in a special ceremony to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
There is a constitutional provision for the President to take oath with the Chief Justice. According to the Constitution of Nepal, the term of office of the President will be five years.
Paudel's official tenure begins with his swearing-in.
The term of office of the current President Bidya Devi Bhandari is ending today.
Paudel is the third person to receive the responsibility of the presidency.
